College Storage Group does all the work for you. Let’s say you are willing to do the work of sharing a storage unit with some friends. Although that might seem like a good idea, in the long run it will cost you more and end up being a hassle. You will have to locate a nearby storage unit, rent a truck in the spring and again in the fall once you return, find boxes, look for a spot to park your truck, and do all the heavy lifting. We can provide everything for you at a cheaper price. Would your friends deliver boxes, pick up your storage items, and deliver everything right to your front door when the school year starts again? When you purchase any one of our Packages, we provide the following free of charge: boxes, tape, and box labels.
Our boxes are 24x18x18 inches, which means we supply the largest boxes of any of our competitors.
If you already have your own boxes and/or containers feel free to use them! You can substitute your storage containers for the boxes at the same price. Containers must be equal to or of lesser size. If you want a larger size, an extra free would apply.
After booking your storage, you will receive your supplies within 24-72 hours.
The average student uses 5 boxes to pack up their college dorm room. The Provost Package is our most popular Package. It includes 5 boxes and two items. The items can include an additional box, television, microwave, or mini-fridge.

Yes! We offer same day service for an additional fee.
Once you select your Package, you will be prompted to enter your pickup and delivery details before making payment.
The movers will contact you via text or call when they are on their way to your residence. So make sure to keep your phone near you.
If you know beforehand that you are going to miss your pickup or delivery, please contact us at info@collegestoragegroup.com or 1.866.MOVE.421. Failure to notify us ahead of time will result in additional fees.
You are encouraged to call and give us proper notification so we can reschedule your pickup at another available time. A fee may apply.
No, you do not have to be present. However, you do need to designate someone else to be there for you, so we can have them sign your contract and verify that your belongings have all been picked up.
Yes, please make sure that all your items are labeled before the movers arrive. Labeled items ensure that the correct belongings are delivered back to you at the end of your storage. If your items are not labeled the movers will not be able to pick them up and take them to storage.
If you don’t know your fall address prior to pickup, that won’t be a problem! Just be sure to contact us and let us know as soon as you are sure, or log back into your account and provide the details online.
You can select an out-of- service date for a $60 charge, which will require pre-approval. You will receive notification within 24 hours of making your request.
If you do not live on campus, no problem! We will come to your off-campus residence free of charge!


You will be able to access your belongings; however, we do need at least 48 hours advance notice so that we can ensure a staff member will be on hand to assist you.
Yes, your belongings are insured for $100 per box/container. If you would like to purchase additional insurance, you can do so.
Most of your belongings must be packed in boxes. We will provide you with boxes for your television and microwave. If you have a mini-fridge, it does not need to be boxed because we will stretch wrap it once it arrives at our warehouse.
Please do no store liquids, hazardous materials or any illegal materials.
Please limit the weight of each box to no more than 50 lbs. If any of your boxes weigh more than 50 lbs. additional fees will be assessed.

Free pickup dates are usually around the last day of classes before graduation. Delivery dates are usually the dates when the dormitories at your school reopen in the fall.
If you don’t use all your boxes you can return the unused boxes and we will adjust the price of your storage.
You can do this by logging into your account. Please be aware that a fee may be applied if you notify us within 24 hours of your delivery window.
Although it is recommended for faster checkout, you do not have to.

You can pay for the full storage amount online, over the phone or through the mobile application. If you would like to set up monthly payments, a fee will be charged for each monthly payment. Monthly payments will be taken out of your account on the start date of your storage contract.
We accept all major credit cards.
If you sign up for monthly payments, your account will be instantly billed for that month. Consecutively, your account will be billed on the same day of the month until the termination of your storage contract. At any point, you can opt instead to pay the full amount.
When paying online you will be prompted to enter your promo code once you get to the checkout page. If you are paying by phone, notify the representative and they will enter it for you.
Our out-of-service fee is $60 upon approval.
In some instances, College Storage Group will charge additional fees when we incur additional charges. Some examples of when additional fees would be charged are: overweight items, more items stored than paid for, missed pickup, etc.
