Frequently Asked Questions What happens after I make a reservation? - After a reservation has been made and payment is successfully processed, one of our call center representatives will contact you via text/email to assure that your order has been confirmed. You will then hang tight until the day of supply delivery/pick-up & our movers will communicate via text to keep you updated on their arrival.
What is included in each CSG package? - The CSG package includes 3-5 XL boxes, boxing tape & box labels.
What if I run out of box labels for my items? - Do not panic! Each CSG mover comes equipped with a personal mover kit which includes additional labels & tape.
How many boxes on average does it take to box my room? - Students usually use around 4-5 boxes, which is offered free with each of our packages. If you are indecisive, just go with 5 and we will adjust your account based on how many you utilize.
What if I order a CSG package of five boxes, and I only use and/or need three? - Once all items have been logged in inventory in our warehouse, we will then proceed with the reimbursement/overage period. At this time, all package prices will be adjusted accordingly.
What is the weight limit per box? - The weight limit for all our boxes is less than 65 lbs. If your box exceeds the weight per box there may be an overweight fee accumulated on the account.
What if I do not know the exact date of my return? - Please select an approximate date on the reservation page. As the dates get closer, one of our representatives will contact you to confirm the date of your return.
What if I miss my pickup? - If you miss your pick up, no worries just give us a call. Our CSG representative will locate the nearest driver to get your delivery rescheduled. There may be a missed pickup fee accumulated.
What if on the day of pick up, I want to store an item that I did not purchase initially? - That is okay! Our movers will still collect your items and when the items have been logged for inventory, your storage account will be adjusted.
What services does College Storage Group provide? - We specialize in catering to the needs of the student. We offer a wide array of services including but not limited to: summer storage, pick up & drop off, shipping, and moving service.
How much coverage is included in my insurance? - Our standard insurance covers up to $100 per box. Additional insurance can be purchased for a rate of $3 per every $50 in coverage, not exceeding $5,000.
Will I have access to the storage over the summer? - If you need access to one of our facilities please give us at least a two-weeks notice. There will be an additional charge if the time-frame is under two weeks.
Where do you store my items? - All of our private facilities are indoor climate controlled warehouses located within a 15-mile radius from campus.
What if an item is not on the list that I want to store? - Simply call our office and a CSG representative will accurately size your item.
Do you offer extended storage? - We do offer extended storage on a case-by-case basis. If space permits, we will continue the monthly payments on your account until you decide to return back to campus.
What can I store? - Our movers are trained on the pickup practically anything you can stick a label on! You can store any of your belongings excluding: alcohol, drugs, and weapons & hazardous materials.
Do you provide shipping? - Yes, we provide nation-wide & international shipping. Please give one of our CSG representatives a call and we will be happy to assist you.
Can I place an order over the phone? - Yes! We would be glad to assist you over the phone. Give one of our trained experts a call.
What if my school is not on the list? - We will be happy to service your needs, simply call us, or select “Other” in the university drop down box under the reservation tab.
Are there any additional fees? - As advertised there are no hidden fees.
Are your prices advertised for the whole summer? - Yes! Unlike most of our competitors, we offer the lowest price amongst our industry and can guarantee that the service & customer experience can’t be matched elsewhere.
